Under the Skin is a 2013 BritishAmerican science fictionhorror art film directed by Jonathan Glazer, and written by Glazer and Walter Campbell as a loose adaptation of Michel Fabers 2000 novel of the same name. It was released in the UK onMarch 2014 and the US onApril. The film stars Scarlett Johansson as an otherworldly seductress who preys on men in Scotland. The music was composed by Mica Levi.

In Glasgow, Scotland, a motorcyclist Jeremy McWilliams retrieves an inert young woman Lynsey Taylor Mackay from the roadside and places her in the back of a van. A naked woman Scarlett Johansson dons her clothes, then goes to a shopping centre and buys clothes and makeup. In the sky above, lights scatter. She drives the van around Scotland, picking up men on the street. She lures a man Joe Szula to a dilapidated house and into a black void, where he is submerged in a liquid abyss.At a beach, the woman attempts to pick up a swimmer Krytof Hdek. Their exchange is interrupted by the cries of a drowning couple. The swimmer rescues the husband, but he rushes back into the water to save his wife and drowns. The woman strikes the swimmers head with a rock, drags him to the van, and drives away, ignoring the couples distraught baby. Later that night, the motorcyclist retrieves the swimmers belongings, ignoring the baby, who is still on the beach. The next day the woman listens to a radio report about the missing family. ........
